Miller & Zimmerly Investment Strategy in Action
We acquired a property in St. Cloud, Minnesota, from a bank in a deed in lieu of foreclosure situation for 176 subdivided lots. All improvements on the property had been made, including streets, lighting, and parks. The bank and developer of the project had invested an estimated $12 million into the project.
We purchased all the lots for $3 million. Even if the land had been given to us, we could not have made all the improvements on the property for the purchase price. |

To gain a considerable edge by employing capital in real estate investments singled out for their advantageous circumstances and expertly managing the investments from inception through disposition. With this strategy, we can yield substantial returns on investment while minimizing risk.

Our primary goal is to discover emerging markets and opportunistic situations before they hit the radar screens of builders and developers. Our land investment strategy is based on getting ahead of progress or repositioning assets that are well located but underutilized.
